Stanford University Research team develops faux wood that can bio
Left over wood from contruction can sit in landfills for months and maybe even years.
This new green invention (Hemp_PHB Biocomposites) decomposes a few weeks after burial.
They are using microbes to break down PHB plastics, which will then decompose and
produce methane gas. The methane gas which then, can be mined and used for energy or used again to make more
biocomposites. This is a very green way of saving our landfills and making energy.
The new green invention might one day save trees and the environment. The
Synthetic wood made with hemp and biodegradable plastic may replace most plastic
beverage containers and lumber for making all kinds of products.
